Bishops
I wonder which Anglican group I should fall into when I say that I don't think women should be bishops - because I don't believe bishops serve any useful function.
Isn't a bit ridiculous when the management of a Christian church is the main headline in the news?

interesting point :) I guess the need for bishops (whatever their title) is (or should be) mostly about accountability - there are enough lone rangers out there -and I don't think that's God's plan either.
We are the body of Christ -interconnected - needed by all and Jesus is the head. But He did give us all different gifts and overseeing what happens in the church is part of that gifting.
Trouble is in both the Anglican (and UMC) it's become so political.
