I don't know. I tried three sample searches. The first result Google provided was exactly what I was looking for, in each search. Using Cuil, the sites I was looking for were not even included in the search results.
I know this proves nothing, but I see no reason to switch from Google any time soon.

sorry but it just doesn't work. This is why we use google.
I searched my name. google has my two blogs in search positions one and three, with position two given to a specific post on one of my blogs
cuil doesn't have either of my blogs on their first page of results
